In the early chapters of my career, I worked with large organisations, including at EY, where I led complex strategy and transformation projects. But along the way, I discovered something important: the clients who resonated most with me weren’t the biggest. They were the ones who owned the business — or treated their division like they did.
They cared deeply. They took things personally. And they appreciated advice that was practical, not performative.
That’s when I shifted. I started focusing on small and mid-sized businesses — where the stakes are real, the decisions are personal, and the impact is immediate.

To support this work, I developed the Business Freedom Framework (BFF)—a practical system for increasing business value while aligning it with the owner’s personal goals. It complements the Your Journey pathway, which outlines the key stages business owners go through as they regain clarity, reduce dependency, and prepare for future freedom.

A Bit More About Me
​
I’ve worn many hats — engineer, researcher, university professor, strategist, interim exec, and coach. I’ve worked across North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. I’ve helped design hardware, written software, led growth strategies, and rebuilt under pressure.
Along the way, I trained as a certified coach (ICF PCC level), with additional qualifications in personal, business, and team coaching. I’ve also spent 15 years as a career coach at Oxford’s Saïd Business School — supporting leaders, founders, and graduate students navigating growth and transition.

I also write regularly on Medium, where I share personal reflections on leadership, life transitions, and the deeper questions behind work and purpose. These writings help me explore the human side of freedom — the same ideas that shape my work with business owners.
